Temecula Balloon & Wine Festival (June 1-3)
In the northeastern part of the county, look to the skies in June for the annual Temecula Balloon &
Wine Festival. The 2007 Temecula Valley Balloon and Wine Festival will be held on Friday, Saturday
and Sunday, June 2th, 3th and 4th at Lake Skinner. The Festival begins with the very popular Friday
evening Balloon Glow and community night that offers musical entertainment and the choreographed
"glow". Saturday and Sunday offers a "Festival within a Festival," with top-name concerts, wine
tasting in the Wine Gardens, Kids Faire, Arts & Crafts and Commercial exhibits and the Food Court.

Rock 'N' Roll Marathon (June 3)
San Diego's annual Rock 'N' Roll Marathon is an all-day event for runners, volunteers, bands and
cheering crowds. Find a spot in or outside of this year's route. The 2007 Rock 'n' Roll Marathon
Band Search is officially underway. We are seeking over 45 high-energy bands to line the
marathon's 26.2-mile course. This is a musical production like no other. Who will be the next
Rock 'n' Roll Marathon Idol?

"A Salute to Heroes" will be the theme of the 2007 San Diego County Fair, which returns to the
Del Mar Fairgrounds in June. The Fair is closed on Closed June 11-12, 18-19 & 25.

Suzuki Rock and Roll Marathon Sports and Fitness Expo (June 3)
The Expo is open to the public 10am-6pm and admission is free. There will be over 100 vendors
displaying running, health, athletic and fitness products. The Suzuki Rock'n'Roll Marathon
Official Souvenir Shop will also be open throughout the Expo and will be available at the finish

Portugal Festival (Early June)
The festival will be held at History Park San Jose (Kelley Park). An afternoon parade
will serve as a midday highlight. Daylong entertainment, cooking demonstrations,
children's activities, and more can be enjoyed throughout the rest of the day. Taste
a delicious variety of Portuguese food at various food booths set up to benefit
Portuguese based non-profits in the State of California. View the latest exhibits
in the Portuguese Museum, one of the largest musuem's dedicated to telling the story

A Taste of Gaslamp (June 16-17)
Downtown's favorite eating extravaganza. The self-guided walking tour features an
incredible collection of Gaslamp Quarter chef`s favorite dishes, and a beer tasting

Annual Indian Fair (Mid June)
For the 20th consecutive year, American Indians from the US gather at the Museum of
Man in Balboa Park to demonstrate tribal dances and sell arts, crafts and ethnic food.
This year's fair will spotlight more than 100 performers and artists representing dozens
of tribes. Open 10am-4:30pm. Usual museum admission charged.

Annual Inter-Tribal Pow Wow (Mid June)
Held on the grounds of the San Luis Rey Mission in Oceanside. Features contest dancing,
Native American arts & crafts, games, food booths. Host tribe is the San Luis Rey
