Nations of San Diego International Dance Festival (Early May)
Don't miss the largest ethnic dance festival in Southern California! Nations of San Diego will
showcase the rich cultural heritage and diversity of the regions by featuring exciting dance
troupes with more that 250 dancers and musicians live on one stage.

Runs or buns? No matter. It's Trevor Time! Hop on the trolley and head to the Q. Stop for a
pre-game warm-up at Hazard Center (Trophy's) or Fenton Parkway (Oggi's Pizza), just a few

Carlsbad Flower Fields (Mid- March through May)
It may be a bit more commercial than the old days, but the Carlsbad Flower Fields are still
an amazing sight, and you can finish the day with a trip to nearby Carlsbad Company Stores
for shopping, Legoland for the kiddies or Four Seasons Aviara for high tea.

Annual Mainly Mozart Festival (May-June)
An all-star orchestra performs the works of Mozart and other Baroque, Classical and Romantic

Del Mar National Horse Show (Apr 19- May 6)
One of the nation's premier equestrian events, the Grand Prix Del Mar includes championship

It's not much in the way of history, but Cinco de Mayo sure is a good excuse to raise a frosty
margarita to the sun gods.

This Mardi Gras Zydeco and Blues Festival at Spanish Landing Park showcases more than a

Carlsbad Spring Village Faire (early May)
Largest one-day street fair in California. Features exhibitors, international food and

Annual San Diego Cajun Zydeco Music and Food Festival (Early May)
This family-oriented event, `Gator by the Bay`, features Cajun and Zydeco bands playing
