northeast of San Diego. Take a winding drive and experience Julian's

Silver Strand Half Marathon Skate (Mid Nov)
The skate start is 7:05 a.m. Inline skaters, recreational roller-bladers
and roller-skaters are all welcome.
Tecate/Score Baja 1000 (Mid Nov)
Annual off-road race for cars, trucks and motorcycles covering the roughest
terrain of the Baja California Peninsula. Starts in Ensenada. Entry fee.

Annual Mother Goose Parade (Mid Nov)
East County's annual celebration features floats, clowns, bands and equestrians.
Begins at 12pm at W. Main & Chambers and continues east on Main to 2nd St and
north on 2nd St to Madison in El Cajon.

San Diego Thanksgiving Dixieland Jazz Festival (Thanksgiving Weekend)
Annual, popular celebration of Dixieland jazz which features 25+ bands from
throughout the United States and Canada. The event is held during the Thanksgiving
weekend at the Town & Country Resort and Convention Center, in San Diego.
The SDTDJF is a favorite of festival-goers from around the globe. Wednesday
and Thursday 7pm-midnight, Friday: noon-midnight, Saturday 10am-midnight.
Sunday: 8am-10pm.

Holiday of Lights at Del Mar (End of Nov - Early Jan)
The racetrack infield will be transformed with over 350 lighted holiday displays
for viewing as the public drives their cars onto the oval dirt racetrack.
Displays will be available Sunday through Thursday 5:30-10pm and Friday &
